Ok sorry, my mistake there. When I made up that caravan pipe, the insert in the body was ok, as was the end of the breather pipe. I had to cut off the broken pipe, and fit the blue one instead.
Is this one any use? (9mm tube x 1/4" thread) Probably be able to remove the insert. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/125101846...kAAOSwIbpcTRbp Last edited by StewartIngram; 16th February 2022 at 19:52.. |

cant you remove the old black plastic insert completely , and then insert a short rubber cut off a hose or similar. ? i think if you get the dimentions correct it should hold the tube ok. its soft so should accept the pipe. are rubber olives or grommets an option as well ? just a few thoughts to mull over .

Breather pipe insert
Thanks everybody for suggestions and replies, I spoke to the guys at dmgrs and they had none of the inserts and no way to source them, they had a throttle body sitting around and offered me that, which had good inserts to it, so I bought that from them.
I know it costs more, but at least I’ve got a spare throttle body if I need! Thanks again all! Steve. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
