Morning all,

Morning Andy, hopefully Quizzie pulls through and does not suffer.

Last evening the cardiologist has referred me to another hospital for more cardiac tests to see if the heart is up to the op or not. Next week he is on holiday, a bit of an inconvenience. So it’s more trips back and forth between Bristol and London.

The AC in the room was very cold last night so had to turn it off. Amazingly there are people on the lawn outside of the hotel stripped off and sunning themselves …despite looking like a……. tomato, madness!

The warm orange glow of burnt skin and the heady smells of copious amounts of aftersun will infuse your day later

Morning Jeff, thanks for the demo

I saw on QVC similar A/C with windows adapter and eternal duct was selling for £249 which is not expensive.

We are off out soon visiting friends in Wembley, they are just outside of ULEZ.

Do you not become tempted to go into the sea for a dip as you are so close?

Thankfully it was reasonably cool during the night, up at 5 though coz Ging is dayshift. Sun hasn't really broken through yet, keeps coming and going, lot of cloud around, I'm not complaining! When the sun does break through its nippy.

Thinking of Quizzie Andy.

Sun never did fully break through but didn't stop the heat building up to 28-30°, resulted in it being horrible, muggy and clammy.

Coastguard helicopter has just flown along the coast, never a good sign.

Morning Andy, morning all. Paddle boarding looks fun but how do you stay up without falling in. Back in the day we loved sea canoeing (tropical waters). Did you manage to get the Freelander?

Cool

Morning everyone

Off to see my niece today. She wasn’t feeling that great for our meeting yesterday.

It’s a grey start to the day.

Sorry for the late reply Phil.

I used to love swimming in the sea in my younger days. My summers were spent down on our seafront all the time.
Problem these days is finding someone to go with. Ros doesn't like the thought of swimming in the sea and friends, always a case of getting time together.

I wouldn't go off swimming on my own. Yesterdays incident at Clacton Pier shows how easy it can be to get in to difficulties .
