Simon, thank you, I now see it is of a V6 . I had thought it was at the front from Rimmers web site.

You're right, the compressor is at the front of both the V6 and diesel engines. However the view from above on the V6 is good as you can see from Arctic's video but on the diesel it's probably obscured by the alternator and PAS pump above it.

This is why, in your other thread, I have recommended observing it from below.

We seem to have 2 threads going here about the same thing?? The car needs to be checked by a garage or air con specialist as it is low on gas

You should still be able to see it from above with a torch, also hear the engine change note, you could always remove the under tray with the car on ramps or axle stands and view from below.

But it's a lot of work just to see the clutch move, you really should notice it from above.

ringing around to day to find someone that can do it, any one you recommend close to Lincoln/Gainsborough?

Now is also good time for me to learn a bit more about the compressor
