Ditto Steve, I wouldn't even contemplate uses the car for going into town any more.

The wind ain't half picked up here, Much cooler now thankfully but It's blowing planters over.

Cool

Evening everyone.

A most productive day. Took a load of cardboard and garden rubbish to the tip. Then a trip over the bridge into England.Pooped into Homebase and bought two galvanised racks, 4 shelve model. Then stopped off at the Tamar bridge office to top up Banana’s bridge tag. You pay to leave Cornwall. I still have the Bear’s tag which I have used for Banana a few times, they never check the reg no anyway.
I have even come through on Allen’s tag.

Then home to assemble the racks. Took just two hours to build them.

Off to Par market tomorrow to top up my meat supplies. Then home to re arrange the garage.

Just having a beer or two.

Been rather "airy" all day here. Ging's instructions when she left for work this morning was to spray fertiliser around the garden. I did but due to the wind I ended up with as much of it as the plants did.

Obviously don't care who pays as long as someone does.

Hi Richard

You have done well in making the funeral arrangements so quickly. My apologies, we won’t be able to make it. Thank you for the update.

A busy day today: posted the night vision scope to Jeff, countryside walk - walked 3 km, then essential shopping.

Tomorrow am telephone appointment with GP (booked a month ago).

Then driving to Wimbledon for 2 nights stay. Staying there as the hotel is cheaper than in central London and the hotel has free parking.

Friday pm, at a London Hospital central London. I am on treadmill running attached to a heart machine to double check the health of the heart (pre-op). It’s best to check it.

Nothing else mundane to report.

Afternoon all, It's turned out sizzling here again since the sun came out mid afternoon. Hope it cools off before bedtime, Hate these muggy nights. Been tidying the garage up & getting rid of cardboard boxes that have amassed in there I bet I need one next week. I put the battery maintainer on the Rover which can stay on overnight as a floating charge, I need to move it soon to get at some things behind it in the garage.

Pasta bake for tea tonight.

Cool

Evening everyone.

Another productive day. Yet another trip to the tip. Then drove onto Par market. Collected my meat order and drove home.

Separated the meat and bagged it all off and into the freezer.

Carried with tidying up the garage, and another trip to the tip tomorrow.

Nice piece of steak with a few chips for dinner.

Might sink a couple of pints this evening.
