Default Exotic pets being dumped

Looks like some people are dumping their exotic pets because of the high cost of electricity. I was watching a gardening YT video last night & this chap in Wales found a Python whilst out walking his dog in fields , The snake was lifeless but still alive, He said the RSPCA couldn't take it in so he put it in a pillow case & drove to a exotic pet store some 50 miles away were it survived after being put in a heated tank. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...-UV-lamps.html

Watched a programme on Discovery the other night, about a wild cat wandering around Milwaukee, reckoning is it was a mountain lion. It was talking about the number of large cats privately owned in the US, some states you need a license for a dog but not for a lion, tiger etc. Showed footage of a family with young kids sitting watching TV in the lounge and a bleedin' tiger wandering around

A massive snake was loose in Lowestoft too. Taken to a local pet shop who are currently looking after it. Far too many "trophy pets" around these days with many being "inbred" with known body defects. My daughter is a vet nurse and some of the pet owners seem to enjoy bragging about how much they have spent on the pet and at the vets, on one end of the scale and others just being dumped, at the other!

Are you not confusing the opening post with WAGs?
