It hit 30 degrees here today and it’s getting hotter tomorrow, Wednesday and Thursday.
But I managed to get some gardening done very early this morning. Be watering this evening via the giant water butt I have. Might try and stay off of the beer this evening.

Ging brought that back with her after seeing friends in The Lakes. Felled her, she spent three days lying on the sofa, hit me not quite so badly but still felt really cr@p.

Morning everyone.
Sheets, quilt cover and towels changed and all in the whirly machine. Recycling boxes out plus Dusty Bin ready for the dustmen to collect. Time for a cuppa before setting off to the tip to get rid of the garden rubbish plus some old bits found in the garage. I can’t wait to retire.

Morning all, already another hot one, just about to tackle handbrake adjustment on the freelander, hopefully it won't be as fickle as the 75.

Mornin'. Ging is dayshift so was up at five, never liked getting up at that kind of time. Went back to bed for a couple of hours.
Trying to psych myself up to varnishing a wicker picnic basket. Had it for years but it was left against a damp(ish) wall in the brick built shed. Its not mouldy, one side looks kinda bleached and had picked up that white dusty stuff you can get on a damp wall. Cleaned, brushed, hoovered, now looking at varnishing. I've got a tin of dark oak varnish/stain and a spray can of clear, not sure which to use, spray would probably be better coverage but would still leave the bleached look |
