Default Gerry's Rover 75c Convertible @ RoverFest 2022

Lovely to meet up with Gerry again and finally have a chat with him about his convertible, unfortunately the hood wasn't totally playing ball when I was there

Yep the fuse blows too from time to time, and it happened when I chatted with Gerry and had him operate the hood. Went on fine and filmed that...but opening it up again blew it. Told me he has to do some reinforcement on the electrical system for the hood.

Had the same conversation Nicholas.

As I understand this issue, the hydraulic motor draws more power than he expected so he has had to protect the circuit with a lower rated fuse, he needs to replace the wiring to the motor for one of a heavier gauge so he can then increase the rating of the fuse to resolve this particular problem.
