Poppy is a fussy little bugr, very picky. She's decided she especially likes the Lidl treats and nowt else will do . . . . even expensive Schmakcos!

Wouldn't worry. The doctor has been specially trained on inserting implants.

Did I mention sunshine? Well it's chucking it down now, with thunder and lightning to boot!

Dry here, well I use the term dry very loosely, dry as in not chucking it down but everything is dripping wet after about 48 hours of heavy rain.

Steve - what you need is a Quizzie. It goes like this.......Does it go in my mouth? Yes? . Then I'll eat it . Good luck with finding some appropriate treats soon. Our local Lidl has been very short of those sorts of things for quite a while now and they don't know when stocks may be coming in. Oh, and if you don't like wasps we've got Hornets. Raises the "not nice and avoid" bar by a significant amount. Mind you their nests are an absolute marvel.

Ian - Can't wait to see the photo of where you have hormone implant . Good luck with it mate.

Take care everyone.

LOL Gawd n Bennett !!! Another mess up! When I picked both of these meds up on the 10th Aug at the Bolton hospital pharmacy they said to take them with me to today's oncology appointment & you'll start them them on that date, The oncology consultant said I was supposed to start the tablets on the 10th Aug as they have to be taken 7-10 days prior to having this implant so they couldn't do it

I've been rescheduled for another appointment in Sept now.

Edit: that's 7-10 days prior.

The wind has got up & the skies have darkened. Maybe the forecast thunderstorms are imminent?

We have an arched window above the front door under a 4' deep porch roof . . . . I've just cleaned bird cr@p off the window! I have no idea how a bird managed to hit it, must have come in like the bombing run in "633 Squadron"
