Morning Richard, a sad day for you and the family. You will have lots of things to sort through and some of those will bring closure and memories you will cherish, they are forever. Thank you for letting us know.

I've been trimming out all the tomato plants foliage as they don't need it anymore now all the trusses are set. Looks like the grapevine has come alive since the recent two heatwaves with a lot of growth, Picked out two long leader vines & put up some wire supports to train it across the greenhouse roof. Lancashire plonk in a year or so if it survives the Winter months . Just about finished mowing the front two lawns & it's started to rain
Thawing out some garlic bread, mincemeat & homemade pasta sauce & sliced Chorizo sausage I made from the glut of tomatoes to make two lasagnes One gluten free for tea tonight

By Jove it’s turned chilly. Rained on off all day. Got some gardening done in between the showers.
Nice piece of rump steak for dinner, corn on the cob and a bit of mash taters. Glass of Yellowtail for a change.

This could cost the solicitor, a can't we have been told how much her will be cost each by the time they finish off one section and the choice of her flat sale. They make a fast mountain of amount by the time they charge their amount .

Morning all, Sunny morning here too, It's damp out there from overnight rain which will save me watering the flowers.

Quizzie is still sleeping after yesterday's romp with Bertie..... But I'm sure she'll be up for a walk this afternoon . Take care everyone. |

Been a harvesting & bread making afternoon. Cheese & tomato butties never tasted as good.
Summer squash are ready One thing I'm chuffed about is the Aubergine plants are now fruiting, I've tried growing these for years without success but this year I've broken my duck Indigo pear drop tomato variety, Bootiful eating toms. Definitely keeping some seed for next year.

My sympathies offered. Yesterday I suffered a similar fate. I had an appointment for a certain oncology procedure considered serious. This appointment was already a deferment from the first one a month ago. The mental stresses in these cases is awful. I arrived on department at 7.00am, number one in the list. The final hurdle after much faffing about was the surgeon himself come to tick all the boxes immediately prior to the procedure. It became apparent the earlier doctor on the first appointment had given me the wrong instructions regarding when I should stop taking my prescription drugs. So the second one had to be deferred. No apologies, no comment, just 'get dressed and we will contact you soon regarding a new appointment'. My last view as I left the department was the, ha ha, activity board 6 foot wide and high with my name at the very top with a large capital 'C' for cancelled. In red. I thought 'go on, cheer me up why don't you'. Not impressed.
