If the starter motor just clicks with a good battery, it is probably the stater motor. This is an easy fix, and if you search ebay for a repair kit you can get it fixed for only a few quid. I did this after looking at this wonderful site and searching the posts. The kit arrived (forgot the bods I got it off) and I removed the starter motor, opened the switch area up and found the internal plunger switch totally goosed as expected. Fitted the bits as advised and no problems from then on. Best wishes, Frank |

Is it an ECU or a relay?
Well, surprise surprise! Mamasboy has taken apart his glow plug relay/ECU and photographed it here:
http://www.the75andztclub.co.uk/foru...81&postcount=1 And it contains integrated circuits, other electronic components and a beefy old fashioned relay! Congratulations Ray, your guess was right. Owing to it's construction, I still think that 'ECU' or 'module' are more accurate descriptive terms though. Simon.
