Default Diesel Tourer Exhaust

Does anyone have any recommendations for a replacement rear silencer for a 2003 R75 Tourer CDT? There are plenty on ebay, and eurocarparts for example, but are they any good?

Wanted to replace mine a couple of years ago, same dilema. After much searching I decided on a Longlife Stainless steel exhaust ,fitted, was around the same price as a decent standard exhaust.

A word of warning!
I had a Longlife fitted about 3 years ago, it looks great BUT it is very boomy & not at all suitable to the 75, meaning I hate revving the motor above 3k revs, so unable to use the car's performance......

I bought one from Eurocarparts before the MOT test. It was cheap (with discount code) and perfect fit.
The quality is not the best, but great for the price(~£50)

Default Replacement exhaust

Jules advised me to look at Long Life Exhausts who will manufacture a replacement. If you go down this route please tell me how you get on, because my 2002 tourer is still on its original and I wonder just how much longer it can go on for!

Bear in mind that the OEM exhausts are double skinned, both my 2001 cars are on the original.

Try finding one with a band around it, rather than the welded on support brackets. I used a 2.5 one and it is working really well.
