Default Parts to fix my broken Zt 190 KV6 timing belt

Dear All
My lovely ZT 190 broke its timing belt on the motorway the other day and fortunatley everyone got out safely. The car is in the local garage and they are going to take the heads off in the next few days to see just how bad the damage is.
If anyone can point me in the right direction for replacement parts (new ones would be nice!) to get my car back on the road!
Best wishes to all,
Bob Walker

Make sure it's a trustworthy and knowledgeable garage that know these cars. Or, consider taking it to another garage even. I hope they do the job right and they sort it for you.

Default Kv6 Belt

Hi Ravinder
The chap is x Mg Rover and owner of a Tourer for many years, he has got me out of a spot quite a few times over the years, he even replaced the subframe on my son's ZR when if failed it MOT and didn't charge the earth! I sopke to Terry earlier about my issue, great chap. BigRuss plugged in his test book a week ago (no issues) as I had the misfire/poor starting, we are not sure if these two things are related or if i will still have this issue when its is back up and running!
Take care
Bob

Sounds like you’re well looked after, then. Especially, when you have bigruss in your corner. Lovely guy and super helpful. Knows these cars inside out.

Sorry Bob, just seen your message. I will pm you the number of a friend (not far from you) and trader who looked after my S reg Rover 75 whilst I was out of the UK. He is a nice chap and he is a fully qualified motor mechanic with his own T4. He will never rip you off and knows Rover 75’s Zeds inside out. He saved me thousands over the years.
