Default Wing mirrors won’t adjust

Hi, the button on my switch pack to adjust the mirrors doesn’t work for left and right. Is this an issue with the switch pack or the mirrors?

Is it OK to adjust the mirrors manually by pushing on the glass? I did try it today but they were very stiff and I didn’t want to push too hard on the glass and break something.

Thanks.

Probably the switch. You have to open it up and clean the contacts. I did mine last weekend, not too difficult. There's a "how-to" on it somewhere.

Hi Ravinder

Yep it a common problem, just needs the contacts cleaning with some electrical contact cleaner. I found this on you tube which covers it all...

Hi Ravinder, as suggested, you can open up the panel but be gentle as the lugs get brittle on our not so young vehicles. Once opened, I have managed to clean the contacts using a pencil eraser. Everything gentle.
Good luck.

Default Mirror motor kits

Hi
If the issue is the motors inside the mirrors (the motors make a noise but mirrors don't move), it could be worn gears. Repair kits available her
