Bllow me Iv'e got Covid
Had a tickly throat all this week but nothing more. Now lost my voice. The wife and I took a lateral flow test and are both positive. It is a bit sureal after all the stress of lockdown to catch it now. I have to say I have been eating like a horse and sleeping like a log and at 74 feel in rude good health. My wife is fairing a bit worse but still no where near incapacitated. I hope and think we are over the worst but I am taking the precaution of quaffing a bottle of McEwans Champion before retiring.

Had it a couple of weeks back for the 1st time, not nice.
It takes about 2 weeks to get back to normal with the B5 variant so don't rush it. Stubs |

Thank you for your kind remarks, I passed a comfortable night but my good lady was rough up to 3.0 am when a restorative cup of tea cheered her up and she is much improved this morning. As you say not a nice experience.

Yeah we both came down with it a week ago - Her Indoors a fair bit worse than me. I'm over the worst of it now, until I try to do something which involves any effort, or bend over to pick something up, then a coughing fit and see stars
Just glad we caught it now and not two years ago

We both had it last year. It was just like a mild cold with me but it laid my wife up on the sofa for a few days.
Unfortunately it also coincided with my mum's funeral so we had to watch it from a video link in the car outside the Chapel.

Had it twice, bit like a cold. But a client of mine from Hull had covid and it ruined his lungs, on the bright side he's still about and has to use a portable oxygen tank where ever he goes. He's still a happy go not-so lucky guy I might add
