Default Grita Thurnburg and her friends.

Gotta love being Scottish.
As you may recall a number of our Gritters and snow ploughs have names - most of which can be monitored on this site

There's a company in Derby, not sure what they do, but they have a fleet of Transit vans, some of the names are as follows:

Denise VAN Outen
VAN Morrision
Marlan VANdo
Dick VAN Dyke
Jean Claude VAN dam
there are a few more, but that's all I can remember at the moment.

Some celebrities name their children after where they were conceived, such as Brooklyn Beckham. I wonder if that Liverpool player was going to be called Camper Van Dijk. Been waiting a long time to get that joke out.

Found a real Van man with talent, character, super- coolness itself, and serious grit. Steve Van Zandt.

Sorry for the mini-revival.

We are now regaled by the tacit validation of Thurnburg's gospel by the national treasure David Attenborough.

It seems tremendous efforts are being made to get the world on board using experts in fields other than pure climate science and by those who presumably are deemed to carry much influence.

On the other hand, there is a complete absence of real science based experts being paraded like carnival queens on national TV. Well, for a change, a science based rebuttal of dogma from an established (although you could be forgiven for never hearing about it) source try:

www.realscience.com and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oaFDkX3G2GI

If you can find in there the criticism of Brian Cox and ‘Science is the belief in the ignorance of the experts’ it's well worth a go.

Alternatively, this is total real science based evidence which is conveniently and studiously ignored by current activists in the big lie. If you have doubts then this is most informative but stick with it, it is a science subject which is approached scientifically. It covers a complex subject (although in layman’s terms) and being thorough takes about 10 minutes to read so don’t be tempted to speed read!

Oh no, she's back!

https://www.theguardian.com/commenti...climate-crisis

The Midwich Cuckoo, as I’ve been calling her after the strange alien children in John Wyndham’s classic sci-fi novel, is easily the most frightening thing to come out of Scandinavia since Eric Bloodaxe, or possibly even ABBA!
