DROVE to the pub last night
for one reason and another, I hadnt been out with the mates since July, we we went out couple of weeks ago, and it ended up being a very late one, the following day being written off
After vowing never to drink again I decided that I needed to meet up with the mates again a bit more regularly, but it not to end in drunken disaster every time (we dont seem to be able to go out and drink in moderation ) So last night I drove to the local. ( the local being 10 miles away). for someone who loves a pint, i didnt find it an issue, I think I had a better night than if I had been drinking, we went to a few pubs, I had a pose in Black olive, and had a chuckle to myself at the sight of everyone else getting far too drunk. woke up this morning on the ball, and surprised the dog by taking her for a run instead of lying stinking in bed for an hour. Ill certainly do it again, despite the price of pop ( why is it dearer than ale ?) I saved over £20 in taxi fares . Im making up for it tonight though with a few well chosen ales and a dirty kebab to warm up for later

Always funny to see your mates "worse for wear"
Take your camera next time for added fun

Over here we have this:
http://www.in.tv/news272.php If you can't view that, its about pubs here offering free soft drinks to drivers. and endorsed by the "original" top gear Stig (this has been done before, and is also running in England in some countys)
