What other Hobbies do you have?

Well, I match Sylvester's DIY and Bass Guitar, and add 12-string guitar and a certain 3 wheeler car "what I built" (and which replaced motorcycles - bottle gone I'm afraid).

As well as wife, kids and grandkids, obviously.

Music - released a number of albums and been lucky enough to see most of Europe and a couple of other places for free. There really isn't anything quite like playing in front of a large crowd. One band was actually on Never Mind The Buzzcocks once, which was fun. But you wouldn't like the music. Trust me.

Games - used to be heavily into multiplayer Quake and actually helped train a player who ended up in the UK Quake squad. As roleplaying has been mentioned, I'm currently playing a game based on (I think) 3rd edition D&D rules - Neverwinter Nights 2 - Mask Of The Betrayer. I'm a level 28 Paladin/Divine Champion, for the anoraks who'd know what that was! Then looking forward to Call of Duty 4, Mario Galaxy etc etc.

Books - loads, but if you're looking for a good, sometimes challenging read, keep an eye out for 'Vernon God Little' by DBC Pierre and 'And The Ass Saw The Angel' by Nick Cave.

I'm into flight sims too, and Fps games when I feel the need to blow something up. Like the AC-130/U mission on the new Call of Duty modern warfare, now that's what I call ground support!!!!


Besides cars hobbies include:
Travel, mainly in the States, don't do the package bit, I like to explore and see the real world. (don't like sitting on the beach all day)
Computers, used to build and sell them and do repairs but don't have the time these days.
I like repairing or building almost anything.
Like flying too (including helicopters),but tends to be a bit expensive!
I used to (before ill health struck) do a lot of swimming, walking, hiking and rockclimbing, but not up to that anymore.
Used to be a commitee member of the Tees/Tyne motorcycle sandracing club when I lived in Cleveland, which used to meet at Redcar. (like speedway but on sand)
I used to be really into bikes in a big way, but have nowhere to put one until I get the garage built.

Also played Call Of Duty - Absolutley love that and Medal Of Honor, although outdated now.

Now then where do I start, Shooting and not clays, snooker when I get the time, ten pin bowling, hiking, tarot card reading, computers, driving my rover 75 but not mending it, car auctions, ally skittles, playing my guitar badly, playing my banjo brilliantly drinking with my fantastic neighbours, I am sure I have missed loads out but need to be somewhere else right now.
