Returning to the Brother/Sisterhood!

Evening All,

After 2 years in the wilderness, (with a megane) took the plunge today and put deposit down on a this '52 plate R75 CDT Connie SE in Royal Blue (JFM)... the draw was just too much!!

123K miles, Mot until July 2021, dealer was rectifying only advisory (worn front tyre - being replaced when I turned up!)....

As you can see in photos below, body work is good, (small area of lacquer peel to attend to) , tyres in good condition too, excellent leather interior, small amount of dye touching up to do on steering wheel... engine smooth & quiet, no black smoke etc. Underneath some corrosion to rear upper/lower arms but nothing major, never recorded on past MOTs as advisory - so they will be sorted with rust treatment/protective coating. so I am hoping she will be a keeper that has got me a few little jobs to do (but don't they all, and thats the fun thing about owning these cars) All in all a tidy example coming up to its 18th Birthday at end of September, ..
