I understand we can't have switchable MAFs on the BMW diesel
Smoke remained the same on mine. It was done by the same guy who does Colin's (Colin introduced me to him, Mark). The smoke never actually changed through any of the maps (standard to MAF mapped to MAFLESS). Push hard, it will smoke, but no more than any diesel I have had before.

Economy didnt change from MAF to MAFless. It did improve from the standard map to the initial MAF map. Mark MAFless mapped it when I was getting him to do other work and he noticed the MAF was out of spec.

Hopefully taking mine over to CJL in Spalding soon to have remap in next couple of weeks
If his 75/ZT is anywhere near as good as the L series one it should be fantastic

This thread was created to help any members whom wanted to do the little mod above to not have to worry about getting stranded because their car went into limp mode because of the MAF

Not to advocate or advertise ( mafless maps ) it was intended for a safety solution, as the car will run as normal albeit maybe use a little more fuel, so before this descends into a thread about which maps are better i will ask for it to be closed such a shame
