That will bring back some pleasant and happy memories for Steve..Who's the lady in the picture and any details of the 75 sat on Serpents.
I noticed a MGF locally which was displaying a window sticker ''Harewood Motors'' |

The picture above was seen on the .org site...
Mine came from Arc de Triomphe Autos (near the famous Arc de Triomphe) in Paris . Now it's a Land Rover / Range Rover dealer (used to to that back in the day as well) and a Fiat dealer also (for the new 500 only ).. Now my car is serviced at GBR in Châtenay Malabry in the southern suburbs of Paris which also used to be a Rover, Land Rover and Ranger Rover dealer, but now selling end servicing Kia and Hyundai and servicing Rover, Land Rover and Ranger Rover as well .

Just looked in my service book, and an early service at Sunwin Keighley was signed by S. Summers, I can't make out any of the other signatures. Ring any bells?

Sadly not, i was in sales there until late on in 1999 but things were not well at that time with Rover & selling was not paying the bills so i had to move on. I just wish i had kept all my launch training folders / paperwork etc

I always popped into Sunwin Keighley when I was passing.. Nice showroom. Never bought a car from there only their sister branch Farnells who were very good. Bought mine from the following dealers:
Parents: MG Maestro + MG Metro + Rover Metro - Perrys Dewsbury (now demolished) MG Montego - Perrys Huddersfield (now Vauxhall) Me: Rover 414i x 2 - Farnell Guiseley MG ZS - Clemo Cleckheaton MG ZT - AutoPlanet Rover Southampton Others private dealers/owners Its a real shame MG Rover aren't around anymore and the new MG Motor dealers just don't have the same appeal, thats if you can find one! |
