Default Flooded 75

Seen this in a French Newspaper website slide show about the floods in the UK. Anybody we know? Commiserations, and hoping it's not as bad as it looks...

Major drying out job; ironically I bet the plenum chamber is dry.

That may not be as bad as it looks, Wet carpets etc but may just be lucky and get away with just that. Fingers crossed.

The insurers "should" cat b it as it will be contaminated with sewage and oil

Doubt it, it has no body damage and can be dried out and cleaned. Maybe owner only has TPFT.

I suppose this had to happen to someone, those floods were bad down south and stragely enough up here in S/W Scotland we had lovely sunny days.
It will be quite a bit of work between stripping out then washing and drying and will be interesting to know just how this one comes through in end.

Take this as a warning, see what happens if you don't attend to leaking rear light seals. When the boot was opened this was the result:
