Hello Nicolas,

Congratulations for your exceptional car. I normally live in Boulogne-Billancourt but the company I work for sent me on a mission abroad. I get back more or less regularly to France where the rest of my family and my car are. Mine is also a Pack Luxe with the Sterling package (all the options available at that time). She's from year 2000.

Do you have a place to make the maintenance of the car? I usually go to GBR in Châtenay-Malabry. They are very nice but have the tendency to be expensive...

How about getting together some time when I would be in France?

Well I'm a bit more south of Paris actually. I know of a former Rover dealer in Paray-Vieille-Poste which might be my garage...though I've also been to the "Garage de Sir Lucas" up north (in Val d'Oise) who is a dedicated MG/Rover/Triump garage, former mechanical chief of a Rover dealer, and who is just about as passionate about Rover as we are. His garage is a thrill to visit (when I went, they were Minis, MGBs, and Rovers all over his parking lot). He's a bit far from my home but it's reassuring to have these kind of garages...

Just got my car today by the way. Pics will come this weekend :-)

I've moved some off topic posts to a new thread

http://www.the75andztclub.co.uk/foru...d.php?t=134370

titled "Driving LHD in the UK and RHD in Europe "

I'd appreciate it if this thread was only used for the discussion of the Wedgwood Blue Dealer Launch Cars.

Nice, but it wrongly advertises xenon lights and it also has a Longbridge rear bumper
May have been painted to match mind.

That's very cheap too.
The second hand values of most cars in France are triple what we pay here.
Someone we know had to pay 9k for a LHD Picasa with 95k on it last year !

Didn't notice the coloured sill on the rear bumper, nice catch
As for the xenons, common mistake, as it has headlight washers the guy is assuming it has xenon
