The biggest kick I get out of driving an RHD 75 in a LHD country is when I get pulled over late at night and the cop knocks my wife's window, and before she gets to say anything he asks her if she's been drinking. And sometimes she has so it's funny to see the guys face as she says "Yes I have, but I'm not driving, he is "

His garage is a thrill to visit (when I went, they were Minis, MGBs, and Rovers all over his parking lot). He's a bit far from my home but it's reassuring to have these kind of garages...

Just got my car today by the way. Pics will come this weekend :-)
Hello again Nicolas,
Very nice looking car you got there and very rare too (not many Wedgwood Dealer Lunch cars in LHD guise and less so in France.
Thanks a lot for the garage names. I will keep them preciously in my notes. The Sir Lucas Garage seems very interesting as it is on the way to my work in France.
A bientôt j'espère,

Had this kind of adventure so many times in the UK with my LHD 75, the funniest being when we were once in London and my wife wanted to see Harrod's. We went to its parking entrance and left the car in the queue while staying nearby. The valet gave us the voucher then opened the front right hand door (seeing it was a Rover) to discover there was no steering wheel, and the 4 of us behind him saying "Got you ".

The lesser funny part being when you are trying to go out of a parking and the gate being on the right hand side of the car. One cannot put the ticket in the gate unless there is a passenger in the front seat...

I can see why you'd want to do that to the valet )
I'm thinking of converting my next 75 to LHD as though I have no problems driving a wrong-sided drive car in the city, it gets a bit worrisome on steep curves in the mountains at night.
