If you can d/load pics of a car into your sat-nav, why not use a pic of your own car?

PS.. I have a Garmin nuvi 200W .. ? whats a splash screen anyway?

My friend had a tom tom with his 407 instead of the little arrow, how does that work as opposed to what you have?

Tried to customise my start up screen but ended up loosing the Tom Tom one and no cutomised one either, now just a blank screen. Decided to leave it alone while it is still guiding the way! Me and technology dont seem to get along.

Just out of interest , Changed the startup screen in my Garmin Nuvi 1340 , used the image here and changed it to JPEG, there is a function in Garmind to let you save a picture as a start up screen.

Should make this in to a HOW-TO.These are great makes me want to my old nav man unless you can do it with that.
