In answer to your question. I was never in the S.A airborne but have in the past worked in hostage rescue on behalf of insurance companies and the government. Such people are unheard of. I stopped doing that work about 5 years ago amongst other things.

If this helps or not, a relative who is a Dr. in med research in the USA also has lymph Ca. He is also a family man. He completed the treatment 2 years ago and his is closely monitored in follow up. Initially he received a once a month 'maintenance' dose of Chemo and then it was reduced to once every 3 months, even though he is clear of the disease. I reckon he was one of the lucky ones.

Positive thoughts
Interesting job Probably umped into my brother who got his pension about 7 years ago. Of course he doesn´t talk about it much but has given me a little insight. They taught a lot of the Scandinavians in this sort of thing in the 90s, Swedes mongst them. They seem to have had some right laughs on a lot of the different courses.

Interesting aswell about your relative. Don´t know which type of Lymphoma he has but probably a T-cells. This is what I´ve managed to get but a very unusual type (typical) It´s a variation on the T-cells called -Natural Killer-. These are very good in the body normally. They scrounge around on their own and eat anything they think is harmfull. There aren´t all that many compaired to other T-cells so they are really valuable in the immune defence (these were the cells knocked out by AIDS and was one of the main causes for deaths in AIDS). Anyway NK T-cells variation is not well known, bit of a grey zone. So I wouldn´t be supprised if there is a paper done on my case. Hope it turns out the same as your relatives... Cheers, Alan

Yep all the best Alan, you sound very positive and knowledgable about your situation.

I believe in the power of positive thought and you seem to have it.

Anyhow you have to stick around for your family and your other family comprising of classic cars and vans.

Like many others have said, I have not met you, but followed many of your posts and of course your help when I messaged you personally, thank you.

All the best

Ian
