Number Plate Poll
Be interesting to see a poll on number plates.
1. I have the original number plate 2. I have a private current style number plate 3. I have a private prefix number plate. Be interesting to see what the percentages are on members cars. Also if you have a private number plate, what does it mean to you.

There are two other number plate options to those in the poll - suffix letter ie DWG393C and no prefix or suffix ie RMT 1.

I used to have H6 RMT (my initials) on my Rover 800 which was off the road and on a sorn due to a bust gearbox. I tried to transfer it to my 75, but was told you had to do it with in a year of the car being on a sorn or tax, test and insure the 800 then do it. I was 4 days over. I was not impressed. Best of all the DVLA said the plate would be cancelled foreva.

I have the original plates on all 3 of my cars but have nothing against personalised plates unless they are spaced or altered to make them look different. |

I think I would only get a plate to match the car Like MG51 RVR or MG51 ZTT etc something like that. Makes me chuckle when people try to explain private plates, and come up with things like, well my daughters birthdays is August the 13th and my initials are the the other letters, although I dont have a middle name so its my Wifes first name Simon |
