So cheap?
Why are these cars so cheap when you consider the specs and design you get for so little money, compared to other makes of a similar class, cos I know it's the best damn car I have ever bought.

AS above, all I ever hear is "oh a Rover, wont be able to get parts for that anymore then" to which I laugh and say, I seldom need any.
I actually found it harder to get affordable parts for my Safrane......which whilst it being the car the president of France used to use, is nowhere near as nice as the 75. I have often wondered the same Mike, so much for your money on most Rover models, the 75/zt being the best imo.

Rover 75's also have rather bad name, largely due to the 1.8 head gasket problems..
And, lets be honest, they are not the easiest of cars to maintain.. That's why, when my sister needed a car, I got her a Honda Civic exec auto. ... |

The tide will turn eventually when people start to realise they were never as bad as made out, and values will start to rise.
The 75 must be unusual in being a car that already had an enthusiast following as soon as production ended. I bought mine as a cheapo hack for a while, but I already know that I will replace it with another one when the time comes! |
