Hi,we recently changed the engine in one of our diesel tourers it now cuts out sometimes, while travelling home from work last night I slowed down for the road works 50mph the engine cut out and it took a few minutes to restart and would not rev above 2500 rpm I managed to drive home. When I checked the fuel pumps they both work but I can here fuel running in the tank when I checked the other car I could hear the pump running but no gushing sound. Could a pipe have come off in the tank? Any help would be greatly appreciated many thanks. Ed.

I changed the camshaft sensor and the maf sensor from the old engine now seems to be running fine.
