Morning all, it’s dry today for once, so the forecast is for rain every other day next week.
We still haven’t left my mother’s rested at her parents grave because the local council are being awkward.

Morning all.

Back home after Quizzie's Friday morning swim. Just about made it before the rain came. Due to be pretty grim all afternoon.

What with poorly arms, Joker valves (do you mend them with a Batman KAPOW!?), storms and the council playing up it's good to hear that Phil has the blessing of the Drs to eat chocolate & Crisps .

Take care everyone.

Great result from your follow up from the surgeon

I'm up at the boat having got here yesterday afternoon.
I'm only here till this morning as I'm off to do a car shoot in nearby Beccles a bit later and then home.

I came up yesterday to repair the toilet on Lady Emma.....It's not all glamorous this boating life!

Anyhow, we now have a fully functioning toilet onboard again. The culprit was a thing called a 'Joker' valve....Now that's a laugh

Think I'm going to shut my eyes for a little bit before getting up 'proper' so catch you all a bit later this morning.

The seamen on the poop deck will be happy about that.

Chicken Korma here, made and ready to reheat when Ging gets home. I know Korma is a bit lame compared to my usual cooking but Ging's having a problem with spicy stuff just now.

Had a look at changing the phone battery . . . . err no, not until I'm better prepared! My model is slightly different to the video I looked at, found the correct one, there's an additional plate that has to be removed, four screws different lengths that have to go back into the right holes during reassembly. Also the internal screws are so minute I need to do something about magnifying specs or a magnifying glass on a stand like I used to have when I was into model making. Its doable and not that difficult but as I said, I need to be better prepared.

Our daughters just got home & brought a Singapore noodle meal in three trays from the Chinese takeaway, Sweet Jesus me mouths on fire just tasting it

Fireworks are very quiet this year, A reflection of the economic times I think. Usually from the end of September to the week after bonfire night it was like WWIII around here. Ours cats thank you.

Cool

Morning everyone from soaking wet land of the pasty.

Torrential rain most of yesterday and last night. But this morning it looks like it is brightening up.
I might be able to give the fleet a wash.
