Default Post COVID Some things for the better!

I went into the centre of Cardiff this week and they have closed off the main street that runs along the front of the castle for eating and drinking.

Umbrellas, screens with tables all socially distanced plus many hand cleaning stations it was spotlessly clean and felt safe.

You're seated, download an app and order online from any burger joint to restaurant and your meal and drinks appear in about 20 mins. Excellent service on a beautiful sunny say. Pity we can't always rely on the weather but this is a positive to come out of covid.

The work from home status does not seem to have reduced the amount of traffic using the Dartford Crossing - the queues are now back to pre-lockdown levels.

I agree, the amount of traffic down here in Bournemouth and Poole is horrendous, the A31 and M27 into Southampton to Portsmouth is chaos.

I would imagine all the people who have found themselves working from home are out and about enjoying the weather, plus those who are not yet back to work, and all those who have sadly lost their jobs; they have to be somewhere.

I'm sure the roads and public spaces are more congested now than they were pre-covid.
