Default Sunroof blind...

Hi folks, my sunroof works as normal, but when I pull blind forward after closing roof, it seems to have come away from a clip/guide on the drivers side.. This means it does not slide forward in a straight line and has to be helped/guided by using two hands.. Nuisance... Is this fixable without removing headlining and turning car inside out... Thanks

I just binned a complete sunroof with no broken clips this week at the tip, could of perhaps sent you them.

Now you have no excuse Steve with Jules how to. Just ensure you keep hands clean and therefore keeping the headlining clean. Now and treat her well mind.

If you've not got yours fixed yet, have a look my thread at this link. I got a BMW refurb kit for no money and the job went well in the end. I just had initial problems getting the refitted glass to air-seal properly but it was all about a minor adjustment.

And easier to fit the whole sunroof assembly rather than faff about locating clips and realigning the glass.
