I ordered some rear wheel arch liner retaining nuts yesterday at 15:00 from Rimmers, they arrived this morning.
Not bad eh?

I've always found Rimmers to be helpful and efficient at supplying parts for my 75s and Stags. When the wife collected some parts for me they were even prepared to accept from me a 1930 Rover halfshaft to be collected from them by a customer of mine.
However, I will not use their front droplinks, they break. |

Now that you mention it Brian, I was aware that you do a lot of this type of work for your friends for no financial gain. I waited a long time for the invitation to drive up north but it never materialised. Disappointing this is. |

Rimmers can be a bit pricey sometimes but if the part is available they will probably have it. I have found them good. They are a great reference when trying to find part nos ( ref exploded diagrams).

They don't hesitate to make an error right either.
I ordered a pair of their clearance door cards for my MGF and one arrived with the wrong colour insert. I sent them a polite e-mail and they immediately shipped me a replacement at their cost. And this is by UPS 2nd day air to Western Canada. That shipping cost them more than the value of my purchase. That effort earned them a loyal customer!

More excellent service from Rimmer's
Like mss and the other contributors to this thread, I too have just received excellent service from Rimmer's.
I was pleased to learn that goods are despatched on a Saturday morning so I placed my order at 9.30 am. The very friendly member of staff said that the company currently had 500 orders to fulfil and so would Tuesday delivery suit me. I said that I'd really appreciate Monday instead. Two hours later I received an e-mail to say that my order had been despatched. It arrived this morning by Royal Mail first class delivery; a true 24 hour service! The cost of the postage was £3.48 so Rimmer's took only an additional 72p for the bubble wrap, the piece of hardboard to protect the paper gasket ( yes, really ) and the plastic bag (total delivery charge £4.20). My invoice is marked: "Please ship as soon as possible". Now how is that for customer care? Well done Rimmer's! Simon
