Had three feeders, now two. Two are squirrel proof, the third one wasn't. It was a basic plastic tube seed feeder (like the one in your photos Bob) and the squirrels had chewed away one of the feeder openings.

The girls hate squirrels, if they see one at the feeder they chase it, it usually runs along the top of the wall with them running up the garden below it shrieking with rage.

we have quite a few robins come to our bird feeder its strange because last year my wife and i went to see a mystic and she was very good,she told me a lot about both my parents who only myself would know, and are sadly no longer with us ,but the point she made that everytime a robin comes to my garden its one of my parents coming to check if alls ok mmmmm

Perfectly ok with that. As I firmly believe that a Robin is a relative from heaven.

We throw hazelnuts for him......he’s buried them all over the garden.

Our feeders are all seeds but there's a woodpecker visits the suet balls in next door's feeders, makes sense, why give yourself a migraine headbutting a tree when there's free food available.

You're lucky to have a red squirrel, plagued with greys here.

Only seen the one grey squirrel here, and that one went past the feeders and disappeared into the garden next door.
