Windscreen Washer ZT CDTi Auto
Seems to have lost all power - only getting a little squirt despite filling up with water - any ideas?

Probably solid debris in the pipework/spray heads. Over time, bacterial action can lead to floating gunge in the washer reservoir. This gets into the pump and usually ends up on the inside of the little jets on the bonnet. You'll have to clear them using a fine wire, etc. If they prove difficult to clear, you may have to reverse flush them. This means blowing into the jets with the tubing removed from the underside. Requires removal of bonnet liner to access the pipework.

The filter in the washer bottle will be clogged.
Easiest way to relieve the problem. Drop the bonnet liner and release the T piece connecting the main washer feed to the to the windscreen feeds. Feed air under pressure down the pipe to blow back gunge in washer bottle filter. Alternatively remove washer bottle and clear manually. http://www.the75andztclub.co.uk/down...ile=tid030.pdf |
