Default TV Aerial help

Have recently bought a new multi-media centre with 7" screen, the unit has built in TV (PAL/NTSC) can anyone tell me where I can get a good quality aerial for the tv , have also got freeview box which connects to the aux input so may in future use that but at the moment just want to get tv working . Is there a window mounted aerial as am reluctant to drill body , freeview box came with an aerial magnetic but cannot get a signal .

I take it we are talking for your Car Here?
The Capture ratio of Some of these Free-View Boxes are appalling and are Tested on a Static Rig with a Roof Mounted Aerial to obtain their Figures, What a Joke.
When Terrestrial Finally goes the Digital Signal will boost by 40% then people that spent a Fortune on Special Aerial Systems will have problems from the opposite end.
Back to your Question, If the Maker of TV units aerial is no Good then you are going to have to look at Specialist suppliers or try ones From places Like Maplins, but most of theirs that I have tested are no Good for on the Move or Digital Reception unless in a Very Strong Signal area I'm afraid.

Any update yet on the tests you have conducted JDC?

Yes They are very Close to Completion for Submission Jan. 2008.
Once they have been Received and Proof Read I will Put on Thread.
Sorry for delay but some Figures did not Compute, found then that some Companies have been reading to a Higher + or - DB to get their said figures.
