Honest John mentions Xpart's sensor being fitted to other cars with K-series engines and suggests they may also fit the 75/ZT. I don't have the link, but easily found. I believe Brown & Gammond sell similar things. These are replacement header tanks.

thanks for that ,just inforces my belief that it is the header tank that is the part that needs the level sensor in .... will try to find something on this......

dont get me started on diesels ,lol
deisels let me see errrrrmmmmm oh yeah their the ones that are costing 7p a litre more than petrol , so work it out its cheaper to run a petrol

just been reading on other rover sites that alot of their members have changed their header tank for one that now has a level sensor ,but no one has said where they got it from ,,all i can find is yorks ,who ever they are ...
