All the happiness that used to be

Soon my eyes will close
Soon I'll find repose
And in dreams, you're always near to me

I'll see you in my dreams
And then I'll hold you in my dreams

Thank you Jennifer, Jeff, Ian, Steve Strat, Steve W and GNU

I am in a medical ward waiting to be transferred to the cardiac unit. I have been told one of the chambers in the heart is not firing properly and during the night the heart rate fell to 30, it was a bad night….. So the plan is to implant a pacemaker to stabilise the rate and to prevent it from stopping, the nurses and doctors have been very kind and attentive. Like Bob, also on anti clot injections……The transfer to cardiac care could be tomorrow or the next day. I have had to cancel our booking to stay in a hotel over Christmas which is disappointing and I might have to reschedule the flight in January until I am cleared to fly.

Have a peaceful and enjoyable Christmas.

It's unfortunate that your plans have to go on hold but good that you are in the best place to receive the right level of care needed.
Ros and I send the best wishes, thoughts and prayers to you both over Christmas and into the New Year.
Keep your chin up (as you always do) and get yourself fighting fit for 2024.
