My £50 one is in London so I have one for the motorhome. Two for £60, can't be bad. Thanks to all on this thread. Dallas you're a star, I owe you a pint.

Mine is now in Hinkley. Should be here by weekend. Something to tinker with, can now give the missus nexus tablet back.

Can I ask on a different issue, I ordered a cctv setup on these deals for £8.19 which after shipping took it to £37.20 which I paid duty and tax insurance on.

Now just received a text from dhl for £17 duty and vat, so can anyone help me understand this please ?

Thanks

I was thinking about buying one of the CCTV systems, but the P&P put me off. Its still a great saving, even with customs & VAT charges. Its seems CCTV cameras without a monitor has an import duty rate of 4.1% and VAT rate of 20%, plus the DHL handing fee which is around £11.00.

Lightinthebox.com will ship products via DHL or UPS on orders over £30, you are more likely to get stung for import duty/VAT and handling charges.

Orders with a value under £30 get sent by regular China airmail, less likely to get stung for those extra charges as above.

If you have opted for the Duty and TAX insurance, you only need to contact LITB and claim back your fees, LITB will fully reimburse you. Just login to your account, goto your order history and you will see a 'Custom Duty issue' Tab, select that and go through the prompts to upload your DHL or UPS invoice. You can only claim back your Duty and VAT fee's, NOT the DHL/UPS handling charge.

I wonder if my rungrace at £48 will have tax to pay. Latest tracking information is its cleared customs and at DPD hub in Hinkley, came airmail with jcex no. Will update what charges when it gets here.

Lol, you are an importer of goods, this means there are fees to pay, everything is explained on the gov.uk website.

Did you opt for the Duty and VAT insurance, if so LITB will fully reimburse customers any additional tax or duty fees that may have been incurred (but not the couriers handling fee).

For something that cost under £5 then shipping charges of £26.94=£31.86 then to get £17 on top is crazy, will wait see what lightening says

You should be ok, I see you opted for the Duty & TAX insurance, LITB will fully reimburse you those fee's, but not the couriers handling charge.

LITB will ask you to upload a copy of your DHL invoice, this will come with the goods once they get delivered. Just open a 'Ticket' on the LITB website, go through the prompts, you will be fine.
