Default PYC101320 alternatives? KV6 thermostat pipe clip

Hi

I am fitting the alloy thermostat housing to my v6 freelander and noticed I forgot to order 2x PYC101320L plastic clips when I did my initial order for this job from the UK. I really don't want to pay 20 GBP for posting to Canada for just two things.

Based on previous prices the landrover dealership 45 minutes away will want $50 for those!!!!

Anyone know if I can use normal "jubily" type clips instead that I can get at the hardware store to hold the straight pipe in place and prevent it from sliding back and forth? I am concerned the plastic clips have more "contact area" them a regular hose clip.

Any other ideas ?
