Key Cutters - Yorkshire \ Lancashire
Has anybody found a key cutter up this way who is confident\capable enough to attempt to cut an R75 key from a blank?
I only have one key and whilst the electronics are still working the blade itself has broken away from the fob! I've got a blank fob and blade, just need somebody to cut it.

I read that Timpson shops are not only able to cut them but also to encode them. Whether they all have the equipment/training to encode new keys I can't verify, but I've had blanks machined for another car.
See this: http://www.timpson.co.uk/services/70/remote-car-keys You usually have to get new transponder keys made via BMW through a UK agency like Lates, Coventry. These are typically £200 a go. TC Last edited by T-Cut; 19th June 2011 at 10:53.. |

There is a small shop in York that can cut them, a bit of a drive from Halifax, if you want the details I can get them for you (I know where it physically is but not what the business name/building number are!).
