Not a 75 or ZT but a classic Rover 820i
Picked up this near mint classic rover 820i the other day. Very tidy and came with a mountain of reciepts and all old mots too.
Just had the headgasket replaced the day before i got it too. |

Gorgeous. I drove 820s for 15 years. Had 4 of them and kept the last one nearly 9 years. Very reliable and surprisingly economical on a run.
Head gasket leaks oil at front left corner. New HG tends to last about 3 - 4 years. That one of yours looks lovely. Hope you enjoy it. Colin |

I had one of those, well an 827!
I remember the little extending handle thingey for adjusting the up/down of the drivers seat - neat!

I used to have a 820 SLi, it had leather electric seats and if I remember it had a screen that showed you if you had a bulb out or a door ajar. A idler pulley sheared its bolt casing the engine to bend 12 out of 16valves,got a second hand head and made one good one from the two, extracted the remains of the bolt from the block. New belt and away she went. Owned her for 4 years then part ex for a new shape 420 turbo deisel

A friend of mine had one of these many moons ago lovely motor I always wanted one but ended up with a 600 at the time instead which was also a great car

Great vid there, never saw that one before! Top driving there and the big rover did well with the honda v6 flat out!

Very nice example of a mk1c (same as my Sterling!). Love the 800, doesn't quite have the same build quality or style of the 75/ZT but they are rapidly becoming collectors items. If you're not already there then we have quite an active community over at http://rover800.info
