Hi, I assume you mean the damper? In that case yes the NS front damper was damaged from the pothole event i think something failed internally and was causing the clunk and the wheel to sit higher when lifted off the ground. The actual spring was intact but in poor condition so also got replaced. Off the car the damaged damper leaked oil onto my hand when pushed down by hand so glad i got it changed before catastrophic failure occurred and possibly at speed. Still got a little cruntch sound over really rough terrain will have to weigh that up this week on a long run being my first go maybe a mis aligned something My previous post I mentioned moving parts near the NS front wheel that i havent touched since owning the car and might be worn or damaged causing noise over sleeping policemen lol and those being the drive shaft bearing, gear box mount and bushes into the subframe. Theres no doubt about it the subframe could do with being dropped but I will leave that for now dont have time to do more work at minute. EDIT I hope you dont mean one of the actual engine piston rods as i dont need that at all. Engine runs smooth and very powerful since doing a HP pump refurb.
