Do these actually work?
I was buying some books on amazon last night and after I'd finished, I used "MG ZT" as a search criteria just out of curiosity. What came up was a mix of the usual accessories and Haynes manuals but I also came across this:

No they don't work, there are various reasons why, but you could try some of this in the fuel tank instead

Sure they work, the give up to 35% more bhp etc... I can firmly guarantee without knowing anything about them or knowing anyone that has used them that the average gain by the typical vehicle will be 0%

Bloke on youtube called Big Clive did a video about these where he took one apart. Literally all they do is they plug into your OBD2 port and flash, they literally do nothing else. It's well worth getting a remap instead as opposed to a flashing box.

They work as well as a £70 HDMI lead out of the back of your telly. Pure BS

Not entirely true, the £70 HDMI lead does work, just the same as a normal one. The tuning chip boxes like this do nothing useful. OK, you might say just the same as not having a tuning chip box....

...and just for the record, all similar OBDII performance items are just as useless.
