Bottom intercooler pipe revisted
I have been looking at an old post. I have an idea. Ash are within 8 miles of me and could supply the following. This is what is required from an earlier post on the subject.
two 90 bends with 100mm legs 4 ply 5mm thick wall, and a 5" 51mm O/D piece of stainless tube. See picture on next link! https://www.the75andztclub.co.uk/for...d.php?t=222856 Last edited by robbrooks; 19th November 2019 at 13:17.. |

Still working fine on my car.
Lost the pictures I put up as I no longer subscribe. Mods - can they be recovered for posterity? |

Now purchased the items direct from ASH at a total cost of £41.35. It was 14 miles from where I live. This price is less than 1/2 the price of the £86 plus postage from Rimmers and that 's a rubber one. > all i need to do now is fit it!

Hi Rob. Have you managed to fit the new hose yet? Been a lousy day with rain here. Nothing done again to the silver one.

I have never seen one of those bottoms hoses go porous, in fact I have used several of these hoses for other projects as they were so good even after 12 years or more all the ones I have looked at were still solid structure.

Mine has gone porous and throwing oil around the top bend. I've got the new intercooler pipe in silicone now, to match the top hose!
