Reebs birth certificate query
hi all,just a query as to my cars colour on reebs birth certificate site,when it left the production line the colour code was listed as JVZ, yet on the B-pillar it is listed as JQW,any body any idea why the difference,the colour i think is midnight blue.

Mods Done so far: Plenum spy hole mod, bonnet mod, handbrake mod. New Smiley plate with club website address. LED bulbs fitted throughout, inc glove box and Numberplate, Flipkey, rear parking sensors, rear offside cubby hole cover, 2x extra LED ambient lights in tourer boot, ultimate remote, walnut gear knob, Walnut steering wheel, in-line stat, illuminated sun visors, load cover with dog guard, extra aux and USB sockets in armrest. |

MGR never used the code JVZ. JUZ maybe but that is the colour code for Midnight Blue surfacer for JQW

Hold on boys, that site of which you speak has nothing to do with me, nor the Owners Club.
We were given the build records to enable individual members of the club to look up their car's birth date and spec. You can obtain this from PM'ing me your VIN number I agree with xpart over the three letter codes, PineBob, PM me your VIN and I'll look up what we have down for it in our records in the club. |

Are VIN numbers something every car has? Or just English cars (yes, I realise that I sound like a uber-n00b right now ).
I would like to know what information you can find on my car.

Yes, all cars have Vin numbers.
You will find it on the metal plate fixed to the B post by the sill inside the door area. The number starts with SAAR--------, it also has your trim and paint code on it. Tom.
