Smile bmw widescreen upgrade

hi to all
I am in the process of up grading my rover 75 tourer hi line sat nav tv system from analog to digital but making inquires I need to change my 4.3 screen to a 16.9 widescreen for it to work so which bmw widescreen will fit is it from a e46 or e39

Hi David

The E46 ones definitely fit. There are some rarer ones out there that have a CD in them rather than the cassette. If you want the CD to work you'll need a BM54 radio tuner with the flat pins.

You'll need the video module too or widescreen won't be displayed

that is what I am in the process of doing now is this the correct unit
BMW 3 series e46 sat nav
BMW 3 Series BOARDSCREEN Sat nav Navigation 16:9 Widescreen
