Default Window Sticker

sticker by Michael Barrett, on Flickr

I bought myself one of these window stickers the other day as I have trouble getting in and out of the Rover due to a spinal condition. Probably won't make any difference but at least I can give them the "look" when they park too close.

On a few occasions, my wife and I have returned to our parked car and she has had to drive home because there just isn't enough room to get in, as I do need the door fully open. I just hope there never comes a time when I am out on my own when it happens.

I had these on my 75 saloon, they made no difference at all.
Worth a try though.

I hope the decal works for you , if only there was one that says " DONT BANG MY DOOR WITH YOUR DOOR YOU INCONCIDERATE LITTLE $hit ". My local Asda is the worst place to park . I parked up a few weeks ago only to see a woman who lives near by standing by her car because someone parked their Land Rover Evoque a hands width away. Her friend had gone back into the store for them to announce over the tannoy for the owner of ?????? to come to the help desk . When the owner in question materialised he moved his vehicle with no apology. Like you she also needs to fully open the door . All this took 25 mins of her time .

No, I don't really expect it to make much difference.

Outlaw 41, in my mind that's what it really says lol

There are a couple of Lidl stores near to me that have really wide parking bays. Thank you, Lidl

Hope it works for you Mike although I suspect it won't. To much "don't give a s**t as long as I'm ok" these days I find.

Had some "person" park so close to my car at the supermarket a while back that I couldn't even get to the door let alone open it.

I put a note under his wiper saying " thank you for parking so close to my car, please let me know next time you will be here so I can do the same to you as I'm sure you won't want to miss out on this fantastic experience" & my mobile number.

Never had a reply, am I surprised, NO.

Good luck Mike

Regards

Paul

Glad you liked it Mike. One for you to remember.

The wife bought me a T-shirt with "fluent in Sarcasm" on it & this was one of those times when I was that Angry I had to do/say something.

Regards

Paul

If your spinal condition is that serious, have you considered applying for a Blue Badge, Blue Badge parking bays are much wider.

You still get non badge holders parking in these bays, but they should be much further away..

I am afraid you can't get a blue badge if you can walk.

Once I get moving I can walk miles. But the low Rover does prove a problem at times.

The spaces in most supermarkets are too small, it's not the driving it's the size of the space.
