Default It`s a bit windy here

If these gusts of wind we are getting here in South Yorkshire are anything to go by, Heaven help our Irish and Scots brethren where Ali is hitting most.

South Bridge also closed due to the masonry incident, St Andrews Square closed due to unsafe scaffolding, trees down on various roads. Utter chaos in the town.

LOL I give up!!! A bell tent has just got flying down the service at the back & the missus (who has just spent 20 minutes styling her hair with a hair drier) has gone to get it I said if you get hold of that it will launch you into the air.

I've gone to my den & turned the music up so I cant hear the screams

It’s blue bin today in our village and most of them have been emptied before the truck arrives.
I wonder who will pick up the mess. I was tidying up my sons garage earlier and the wind was blowing the door open despite being held by a 10 gallon container of diesel.
As we expected though there will be a lot of damage to property today.

That's all train services out of Edinburgh and Glasgow suspended due to trees and god knows what else blown onto the lines and overhead wires.

Windspeed of 79mph recorded at the Forth Bridge.
