We moan about the weather here but my wife has the online Philippine TV service. We're waiting for today's news programme to become available to see the effect of "Super Typhoon" Mangkhut, which crossed the north of the country with 150mph winds, 6m storm surge and torrential rain. Thankfully it was well north of where she's from.

99.9% of Express headline weather predictions are about as accurate as Mystic Meg's horoscopes. If I see something like "Big Freeze To Last A Month" then I know we might get one or two cold days.

The Met office has issued weather warnings for Monday/Tuesday for the north west of England.

Well they were correct in that it is getting warmer, sure is warm here in South Yorkshire right now, although it looks like it`s going to "chuck it down"

Oh er missus! I'd better get me thermals sorted out then, using the computer in the conservatory for the past week has been a bit chilly in the mornings, you can see your breath today.

I've just returned from Orlando where ten of my twelve days were in the nineties, humidity over 90%, so it's a bit cool here for me.
