A friend of mine came round yesterday after taking her car to Halfords Dundee for its first mot. It’s a company car and that’s their nominated garage so wasn’t her choice.

Anyway. The car still had a headlight bulb out and the warning tell tale lamp on the dash. If they missed that what else did they miss!? And there’s me thinking they’d be ‘finding’ numerous faults.

A 'FREE' mot???
That's like being offered a free girlfriend when;
- You already have one.
- Know their shortcomings and their good and bad points.
- Having to build trust again from those that know her well.
- Purposely making her feel cheap by entrusting her to people on the make.
- Go behind her back hopping to get a better deal, and risk loosing the lot!

Knowing how readily they fail cars at the one near me on what I would consider at worse should be advised on I wont be taking up there offer.

One car they failed on worn front discs and pads had been fitted with new discs and pads less a month before hand, the best part is Halfords had fitted them.
